Reporting an issue or content correction

Include your iPhone model, iOS version, Deneb version, what happened and the steps that led to it. For a content correction, include the article or topic title and a reference where possible.

Remove personal or vessel information from screenshots. Never send passwords, full payment-card details or other sensitive information.

Purchases and Study passes

Deneb offers two Study passes, Study Pass 6 Months and Study Pass 12 Months. Each is a one-time purchase that does not renew and does not charge again automatically. The price and term are shown in the app before purchase.

For a missing purchase in the app, connect to the internet, check that you use the Apple Account that made the purchase, and use Restore Purchases in Deneb. Contact me if access is still missing. Refund requests for Apple purchases can be made through Apple’s refund process; eligibility depends on the purchase and your region.

Offline access

The bundled reference and free study content work offline. Buying or restoring a pass needs a connection. Once verified, paid access works offline for its term. Free content remains available after a pass ends.

Local data and privacy requests

Bookmarks, preferences and learning progress are stored locally. Clear cache does not erase all app data or delete purchase records. Deneb has no account and does not send your app data to Deneb; deleting the app removes it from your iPhone. Email me for questions about personal data or to make an access or deletion request. The Privacy notice describes the app and this website.

Deneb is an independent study aid. It is not an emergency service, navigation system or substitute for current official publications, qualified instruction or your vessel’s procedures. Support cannot provide operational navigation advice.
